Sales and Marketing Representative
CityXpress Corp., the leading supplier of revenue-generating auctions and online marketplaces to newspapers, requires a Sales and Marketing Rep with 2-5 years of direct selling experience. Working in our Vancouver head office; the successful candidate will be responsible for the following sales and marketing responsibilities reporting to the Vice President, Sales Development.
Sales Duties:
- Assist with the closing of renewal/ repeat newspaper auction clients.
- Develop and managing email and print sales campaigns for our newspaper marketplace products.
- Conduct phone campaign sales follow-up for CityXpress products.
- Work as required to assist the senior sales rep in closing sales.
Marketing Duties:
- Write marketing information for the sales campaigns as required.
- Conduct client interviews for product case study marketing material.
- Manage marketing materials distribution.
Education:
- Graduate from BCIT or university in marketing and sales.
Work Experience:
- 2 - 5 years of work experience in a selling or marketing role selling technical solutions.
- Knowledge of the newspaper and other print and broadcast media is an asset.
Other Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal skills.
- Strong working knowledge of the Internet and related software tools.
- Proficiency with office applications.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, good time management.
- Team player.
