The Backstopper- CA-5010.II is a rear impact warning sensor system designed to aid the driver when backing up their vehicle. The system uses four 21mm ultrasonic waterproof sensors that are flush mounted into the rear bumper that send out a sonar pulse which reverberates off of any object or mass and alerts the driver by showing distance readings on a color LED display and sounding off audible tones. As the vehicle approaches closer to the object, the tones will get faster and faster until to tell the driver the distance is closing.
