A thorough test battery to evaluate students' academic strengths and weaknesses. Followed by complete analysis and meeting with parent on recommendations and plans to advance your child's learning.

1. Evaluation: During the evaluation we administer a thorough test battery to evaluate your son's or daughter's academic strengths and weaknesses. We use a variety of tests to measure hand-eye coordination and reading and math skills. For younger students, the battery includes an evaluation of basic concepts and phonetic ability. For all students, we measure sight word ability, the ability to read aloud and silently, and the ability to write a short paragraph. We administer a standardized achievement test to provide grade equivalents and percentiles in reading and math, and we use our own math placement exam to gain an understanding of your child's computational and problem solving ability. For older students, we administer a study habits evaluation.

2.Analysis: Following the testing, our center spends a considerable amount of time compiling all results which include: a thorough analysis of the entire test battery, notes and observations of your child during testing, and input received from the parents whom contact us.

3.Conference: We invite both parents to our professional office to review our observations, conclusions, and recommendations. We will provide you the opportunity to view all of the assessments your child completed along with the results. Finally, we will present to you the individualized plan we have developed to advance your child's skills beyond his/her current grade level, and set up a schedule that will be most conducive to success and learning.
