Single ticket to Grassroots Music Festival - 311 concert tickets
All seats are general admission. July 12th Concert Event of the Summer at Tom Hanafan River's Edge Park.

Nationally-known local band 311 to headline Council Bluffs festival By Tim RohWer:
A special musical event is coming to the Tom Hanafan River's Edge Park this summer, headlined by a band that has its roots in Omaha and is now recognized around the country. The Grass Roots Music Festival on July 12 will feature 311, which attracted some 60,000 to an outdoor Omaha concert a decade ago, according to a local promoter. "It's the most famous band in the metro area in the last 20 years," said Jason Dick, a managing partner of the Dom Group of Omaha. "This could be the biggest ticketed event in the metro area in the last decade" The name of the music festival is derived from 311's second album, "Grass Roots," Dick said, and July 12 happens to be the 20th anniversary of that album. They have teamed up with fellow promoter Darik Opperman of Omaha and Jake Gardner, owner/operator of the Hive Rock Club and Gallery in Omaha's Old Market in putting on this event. The concert that day, also fitting, will begin at 3:11 in the afternoon featuring the bands tour DJ, DJ TriChome, Dick added.

Tickets will go on sale beginning March 11 online at ticketmaster.com, thehiveomaha.com and thedomgroup. com for $25 per person. Tickets will be just $20 by going in person to the Hive Rock Club &d Gallery. The cost will be $30 at the park on the day of the show. These prices are very inexpensive considering the quality and length of the show, according to Dick. Once the concert gets going at 3:11, the music will go until 311 ends its own act at 11 p.m. An after-party will be held at the Hive. This will be the first paid event at the riverside park that opened last May, Mayor Matt Walsh said. "This is the next evolving step for the Tom Hanafan park as an entertainment venue."
