2 Season Tickets to the 2015-2016 Season to include:

DRACULA, by Steven Dietz. Directed by D. Scott Glasser, Sept. 30-Oct. 3, 2015
This new adaptation restores the suspense and seduction of Bram Stoker's classic
novel to the stage.

3 PENNY OPERA, by Bertolt Brecht. Directed
by Dr. Douglas Paterson, Nov. 18-21 and Dec. 2-5, 2015
A milestone of 20th century musical theatre, The ThreePenny Opera (Die
Dreigroschenoper) rolls on unstoppably into the 21st century. In their opera by and for
beggars, composer Kurt Weill (1900-1950) and playwright Bertolt Brecht (1898-1956)
transformed saccharine, old-fashioned opera and operetta forms, incorporating a sharp political perspective and the sound of 1920s Berlin Dance bands and cabaret.

CLOUD 9, by Caryl Churchill. Directed by Ryan Hartigan. Feb. 24-27 and March 2-5, 2016. A hilarious and provocative meditation on individuality, sexism, colonialism, sexuality, and theatricality. Beginning as a gender-switching Victorian farce about desire in colonial Africa, it transforms into a contemporary urban tale of the search for identity in a complex and ever-changing world. Acceptance of oneself and of others is at the heart of this amazing romp.

KWAIDAN (Japanese Ghosts and Demons), Directed by Dr. Cindy Melby Phaneuf.
April 13-16 and 20-23, 2016.
A theatrical celebration for the 10th anniversary of the College of Communication, Fine
Arts and Media, the newly formed UNO School of the Arts and in commemoration of the
50th anniversary of the Shizuoka Omaha sister city relationship, we will be staging the
script, Kwaidan.
