Reward Points Auctions

We value your interaction with our site and we credit your account with CityXpress points for each of the following interactions: sign up for daily notifications, successful friend and product referrals, product purchases, or logging in to your account each day.

Subscription Points: Earn member reward points for subscribing to the daily email notification for each day's deals and events. Points are credited to your account when you register as a user on our site. Make sure to use the same email address for both the sign-up and registration though to ensure that you are properly credited for your points.

Successful Referrals: Earn reward points by referring deals to friends. Points are awarded when a deal is purchased by your referred friend within 7 days of the friend first clicking on your referral link, even if that deal was not the specific one you referred. In the case of referrals, there are two types (1) New Purchaser Referral: your friend is new to our site, registers and purchases a product; and (2) your friend is already registered but purchases a product through your referral link. In the case of multiple referrals, credit is given to the person whose referral link was the last one used by the friend prior to the purchase.

Log in Rewards: Each day that you log in to our site you will receive reward points. Visit us daily and collect more points.

Purchase Rewards: Each time you purchase a Premier Deal or XpressDeal, your account will be credited with reward points as set out in the table below.

Summary of Reward Points

CityXpress Reward Points Auctions work like a regular online auction, except that bidders use their Reward Points rather than cash to acquire the items offered, if they are the winning bidder.

Normally, we offer several of the same item at the same time (the quantity available is shown above the bid entry box). Although more than one item is available, each individual may only purchase one of each Reward Points deal offered. Note that CityXpress reserves the right to disqualify all purchases of any individual who uses multiple accounts to acquire more than one of each item offered.

Bidders must have sufficient Reward Points to cover their bid, otherwise the bid will be disqualified.

When you bid, you may place a Maximum Secret Bid amount that is higher than the Minimum Winning Bid amount shown below the bid entry box. CityXpress will only bid the minimum points required to make you a leading bidder and will then place bids on your behalf to maintain your position as the bidding progresses. When your Maximum Secret Bid amount is reached, no further bids will be placed. You will however receive an Outbid Warning email so you are aware of your status and can place a higher bid if you wish – but be careful as during the final minutes bidding can be fast and furious.

To participate when you see an item you wish to bid on:

1. Log in to use your Reward Points for bidding.
   
2. Your Bid Amount in points is the maximum amount you are willing to offer for this item.
   
3. You may place a Maximum Secret Bid and CityXpress will place bids on your behalf at the lowest possible amount to keep you in the lead, up to your Maximum Secret Bid amount. The higher your Maximum Secret Bid amount, the greater your chances of winning during the final minutes of the auction.
   
4. The Minimum Bid is the least amount that will be accepted at this time. Placing a bid for the minimum amount required DOES NOT ensure you will be a winning bidder. You may place a Maximum Secret Bid at any amount higher than the Minimum Bid.
   

Lowest Unique Bid (LUB) Auctions offer great products that you can bid on using your CityXpress Rewards Points.

CityXpress LUB Auctions are quite different from regular auctions. The winner of the LUB item is not the highest bidder, but the person who bid the lowest number of points without anybody else bidding at the same number.

Each bid you place costs the number of points shown as the Price Per Bid. The bid price can vary depending on the item offered. Each time you bid this amount is deducted from your account.

You may bid up to a maximum of 250 times in each Lowest Unique Bid Auction.

When you bid, you may place multiple bids to increase your chance of winning. Your bid will be summarized on your screen after you place the bid and you will be asked for confirmation of your bid. During the auction, emails will be sent to you if your bid becomes the lowest unique bid, or if the status of your bid changes during the auction. A winning bidder email will be sent to the person who has the Lowest Unique Bid at the close of the auction.

To participate when you see an item you wish to bid on:

1. Log in to use your Reward Points for bidding.
   
   
2. Your Bid Amount in points is your bid. Place a bid at an amount you believe will be unique and the lowest. Only whole amounts are valid.
   
   
3. Price Per Bid is the cost in points for each bid. This amount will be immediately deducted from your points account once the bid is confirmed.
   
   
4. When the bidding closes you must have enough points in your account to cover your Bid Amount. If you are the winner and you do not have enough points to cover your Bid Amount, you will be disqualified and the next lowest unique bid will become the winner.
   
   

CityXpress Reward Points Buy Now is just like purchasing a product online, except that our members use their Reward Points rather than cash to acquire the items offered.

Multiple quantities of the same item are offered (the quantity available is shown above the purchase entry box). Although more than one item is available, each individual may only purchase one of each Reward Points deal offered. Note that CityXpress reserves the right to disqualify all purchases of any individual who uses multiple accounts to acquire more than one of each item offered.

Bidders must have sufficient Reward Points to cover their purchase; if not, the transaction will be disqualified.

To participate when you see an item you wish to purchase on:

1. Log in to use your Reward Points for your purchase.
   
2. Click the Buy button to purchase the item.
   
3. The points used to purchase the item will be deducted from your account when your purchase is complete.
   
4. The item will be shipped to the billing address registered to your account.
